I had just finished reading his second novel "One Night At Call Centre" , After reading his first novel "Five Point Someone" which i read in single stretch .

This novel doesn't meet up the standard which chetan concocted in his first novel , this was stretching up like a rubber band before coming to the main point , and with an inapt ending .
Though it was pleasure reading this novel too , his style of telling a story is simply superb.
The novel revolves around a group of six call center employees working in Connexions call center in the Delhi suburb of Gurgaon in Haryana. It is filled with a lot of drama with unpleasant things happening to all of the leading characters. The story takes a dramatic and decisive turn when they get a phone call from God.
When Asked chetan :
"
Your style of writing is totally unlike your contemporaries. The use of conversational, informal lingo is what has earned you your biggest fans and your greatest detractors. Comment.
We live in an age where everyone talks via SMS.
I have always believed that the only function of language is communication.
The language used in a book ought to be to communicate ideas. It is easy to impress someone by using multi-syllable words. It is much more difficult to write simply. Just because you don't need a dictionary to understand my book, it does not mean it cannot have emotions. Flowery language kills humour. Anyway, it is not my cup of tea."
I have just begin to read his 3rd book " The 3 Mistakes of my Life " .... and to complete his trio ....
Will definitely blog my personal review about that book too...
If u haven't read his first "Five Point Someone" and u are doing engg ... then u must grab it now ...
